Description

Globally, Lapsang Souchong is famous for its intense flavor due to a distinctive pine-smoking process.  In China however, the unsmoked variety is exceedlingly popular among the locals.  The deep black leaves of this tea yield a very unique brew unlike anything else.  It is medium bodied and semi-sweet with strong notes of tobacco and leather. Subtle notes of charcoal, dark cherry, and an almost pu erh-like earthy finish round out the experience.  The flavor of this tea makes for an excellent iced brew!
